Located in Washington, DC, Anderson Wier Studio creates authentically crafted interiors with a fresh, personal style. Renowned for their innovative approach to timeless spaces with unexpected geometric elements and muted jewel tones. IDCO Studio was commissioned to provide a new, cohesive identity for Anderson Wier Studio that transcends their digital presence to their new flagship studio in the trendy Chevy Chase neighborhood. Working with a moderate budget, we transformed a limited edition website template into a bespoke representation of their coveted interiors.

We set out to create a branding experience that feels timeless, thoughtful, and unexpected. Anderson Wier Studio is artful and inspired, creating spaces that feel fresh while simultaneously grounded in rich heritage and old world sophistication. Rooted in authenticity and soulful design, the brand represents its commitment to quality and passion for crafting intentional interiors. Anderson Wier Studio believes in an intentionally intimate, considerate, and personal approach to design. Whether considering a new build or the renovation of an existing home, their work celebrates architecture, character, and craft to compose spaces that balance form with function and honor their clients’ identity, history, and aspirations.

Logos
Sacred geometry, symmetry, and architecture were the foundation of the Anderson Wier Studio logos. Pulling inspiration from traditional architectural lettering, the wide width serif is a nod to the heritage of Wier's native Washington, DC.
Typography
We kept typography elegantly crisp with the modern mix of two sans serif fonts. The primary font is artfully high contrast, while the secondary font is intentionally clear, perfect for longer text.

Color Palette
This color palette has a boldness that feels both unexpected and organic with moody undertones, a creamy neutral foundation, and muddied jewels. This striking juxtaposition of light and dark adds dimension to the brand and tells their soulful story.
Brand Pattern
The brand pattern is a natural extension of the architectural brand suite with a nod to the Anderson Wier Studio icon. It’s distinctive and unexpected with a mix of earthy colors pulled from their interior spaces.
Having recently moved into a historic storefront in the trendy Chevy Chase neighborhood, we utilized Wier's geometric pattern to reimagine the hundred year old facade.

The printed material is a mix of understated yet distinctive, with a play on scale. Toothy, recycled cotton paper adds depth and luxury.
Using primarily horizontal shots allows site visitors to quickly get a sense of their experiential interiors and the Anderson Wier Studio signature style.
